Evergreen Speech and Language Therapy is a small business operated by Erin Stidham, MA CCC/SLP.

“I was born and raised in North Florida having attended high school in Union County and later fulfilling my dream of becoming a Gator at the University of Florida. Here, I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology and Communication Sciences. I began my career serving clients across the lifespan at a medical private practice and continued to develop my skills across settings including home health, early intervention, skilled nursing facilities, and schools. In each new setting, I gained knowledge of different treatment modalities and strategies, but acknowledge that there is always more to learn.

My favorite days are spent with toddlers developing early language skills, elementary/middle schoolers targeting auditory comprehension and verbal expression through storytelling, children confidently using their speech sounds in conversation, and caregivers who are eager to learn. Launching my own practice felt like the natural next phase of my career so that myself and the families I serve have the flexibility to create evidence-based and individualized care plans that make a difference.

In my free time, I am cooking a new recipe, planning hiking trips with my husband, or reading in a cozy spot.”
